Good Mental Health is Achievable

Most of us benefit from being heard and understood. As humans we get stuck occasionally, run into roadblocks we can’t cross alone, and need help sorting out complicated concerns.

As a psychologist, I first listen deeply and closely to understand your situation and then together we find the best approach to solve the problem. There are many different treatment options, but the best one is the option that matches your specific concern. Simply, “which approach, for this client, for this problem.”

Dr. Moore began his career in therapy with families and couples at the Minneapolis Family Institute. He has worked with clients in various countries, including South Africa and the United Kingdom, where he assisted in tackling issues of racism and employee harassment.

In addition to his private practice, Dr. Moore served as the chair of the non-profit AZELO (Arizona End of Life Options) from 2019 to 2023, leading the coalition's efforts to pass a medical aid in dying law in Arizona. He also dedicated eight years of his time as a volunteer client advisor for End of Life Washington, where assisted terminally ill individuals who have chosen to end their life using Washington’s medical aid in dying law.

Outside of work, Dr. Moore enjoys playing golf, tending to his garden, and spending quality time with his grandson. With his diverse background and deep commitment to helping others, Dr. Moore is a trusted and respected professional in the field of psychology.

Semi-retired, Dr. Moore has the luxury of a small practice where he can devote his energy to a few, rather than many, clients. Sessions are conducted virtually online or in person. His hourly fee is based on a sliding scale consistent with the guidelines of the WA Psychological Association.
